Heralded as "The Blondie of the Mission" this San Francisco based indie rock band is as diverse ethnically as it is inspirationally. Their music has deep roots in rock and roll, elements of punk and new wave, a sprinkle of theatrical flare, with an indie pop cherry on top.

The music is driving, sensual, and playful. Laying a foundation to support a voice like lead singer Kiki The Cat's, which sometimes soars to amazing heights, and at other times, is deep, mysterious and sultry.

Bass player Matte Martin is a virtuoso on his instrument. His inimitable bass solo's and hooks are unforgettable and impressive. Guillermo Guajardo's driving guitars layer each piece, reminiscent of bands like Joy Division, Gang of Four, and The Cure. Phil McGaughy is perhaps the most eclectically tasteful drummer; he brings steady and unique beats to The Bikini Complex, helping to round out each song into a surprisingly danceable tune.

Their new album, 'The "B" Word', won't disappoint if you need a few songs to drive fast to, or just an album to listen to around the house, while you reluctantly clean up after your housemates.
